Significant Figures Writing Rules.

a. All non-zero digits are significant figures

Example:         3410 meter                  have 3 significant figures

235,23 gram                have 5 significant figures

1300 secon                  have 2 significant figures

b. All zeros situated between the figures is not zero included significant figures.

Example:         3005meter                  have 4 significant figures

2050 gram                   have 3 significant figures

10010 secon                have 4 significant figures

c. All zeros behind that last number is not zero but behind the decimal point are significant figures.

Example:         7,50 meter                   have 3 significant figures

23,7500 kg                  have 6 significant figures

0,30 secon                   have 2 significant figures

0,05 ampere                 have 1 significant figures

d. All zeros are specially marked horizontal line above or below, including significant figures.

Example:         3000 meter                  have 3 significant figures

7000 kg                       have 6 significant figures

230000 secon              have 4 significant figures
